Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is protected and how when you use the examslab.net website. Details of how personal data are processed are in the Privacy Notice under KVKK.
Cookies and browser storage
- Session cookie (essential): remembers that you are signed in; it is deleted when you close the browser or the session expires.
- Language cookie: remembers the interface language you chose for one year.
- Currency and question bank preference: remembers whether you want to see prices in TRY or USD and the level you last chose in the question bank.
- Time zone cookie: on your first visit it stores your device's time zone (for example "Europe/Istanbul") for one year; it is used only to choose whether prices first appear in TL or USD. Your location and IP address are not stored for this purpose.
- Referral and discount code cookie: if you arrived through an invitation link, keeps the code for 60 days so that the discount can be applied at payment.
- Theme and exam draft: your dark mode preference and the marks in an exam in progress are kept in your browser's local storage.
All of these cookies are needed for the website to work and to remember your preferences. No advertising, marketing or analytics cookies are used, and your visits are not tracked for advertising. If such cookies are added in future, your explicit consent will be asked before they are used.
Payment security
Card payments are made on iyzico's secure payment page. Your card details never reach our website and are not stored. The payment result is verified by querying iyzico directly from our server.
Third-party services
The pages use fonts (Google Fonts), a calculator (Desmos), video solutions (YouTube, Vimeo) and a payment page (iyzico). AI assessments and transcription of speech use Anthropic and OpenAI services. These services are subject to their own privacy policies and may see your IP address when connecting.
Security
The website runs encrypted over HTTPS; passwords are stored irreversibly, failed login attempts are limited and only authorised people can access the administration screens.
